Accept LanaCoin in your shop. One button.
LanaPay is a hosted checkout for LANA payments. Your customer scans their wallet, signs in their own browser, and you get a webhook. You never touch keys — and neither do we.
For your shopper
Three steps, one page, no account to create.
- Pick LanaPay at checkout — Your shop sends the shopper to a hosted checkout page on pay.lanapays.us showing exactly what they're paying and to whom.
- Scan or paste your wallet — The shopper scans their wallet QR or pastes their key — and the payment is signed inside their own browser. The key never travels.
- Done — the shop is notified instantly — The moment the payment lands, the shop receives a signed webhook and the shopper is sent back to your thank-you page.
For you, the merchant
From nothing to your first LANA payment in an afternoon.
- Create your merchant account — It takes minutes — or sign in with your existing shop.lanapays.us wallet and you're already halfway there.
- Add the button — A payment link, a script tag, a plain redirect URL, or the WooCommerce plugin — pick whichever fits your stack.
- Get paid — A signed webhook fires the moment a payment lands. Verify it, mark the order paid, ship the goods.
The private key never leaves the customer's browser.
LanaPay is built so that nobody — not the shop, not us — ever holds the shopper's wallet key. The checkout page is the only place a key is entered, and even there it is used purely in-browser to sign the transaction.
- Client-side signing on pay.lanapays.us — The wallet key is used only inside the shopper's browser to sign the transaction locally. Only the signed transaction is sent to the server — never the key.
- The checkout can never be iframed — By design, the checkout refuses to load inside another site's frame. Key entry always happens on a page the shopper can identify.
- Always check the address bar — The genuine checkout lives only at pay.lanapays.us. Teach your shoppers to glance at the address bar before entering anything.
- Merchants never see wallet keys — You receive order status and a webhook — never credentials. There is nothing key-shaped in your systems to leak.
- HMAC-signed webhooks — Every webhook carries a LanaPay-Signature header your server verifies with your webhook secret, so a forged 'paid' notification is rejected.
- Optional signature-locked amounts — Sign your checkout URLs with your signing secret and nobody can tamper with the amount or order id on the way to checkout.
You don't pay to accept LANA. You earn.
LanaPay takes nothing out of your invoice. You receive the full amount your customer paid — and a reward on top of it, in fiat or in LANA, your choice. It is the same reward every merchant on mobile.lanapays.us has always been paid.
- Standard — 2% — On top of every successful payment. Nothing is deducted from the sale itself.
- Lana8Wonder merchants — 5% — Merchants enrolled in Lana8Wonder earn at the higher 5% tier.
- Abundance model — up to 20% — Merchants in the Abundance model earn the rate assigned to them — up to 20% of the invoice.
No setup fee, no monthly fee, no deduction from your sales — and nothing at all on failed or expired sessions. Your reward is funded by the investor financing the purchase, never by you.
Four ways to plug it in
From a shareable link with zero code to a full REST API — plus a WooCommerce plugin.
- Payment link — No code at all. Create a link in the dashboard — fixed amount or open amount — and share it anywhere: an invoice, a chat message, a QR code on the counter.
- Button — Drop one script tag on your page and mark an element with the amount and order id. The button opens the hosted checkout — nothing sensitive ever runs on your site.
- Redirect — Send the shopper to a checkout URL with the amount in the query string — works from any stack that can build a link. Optionally HMAC-sign the URL so the amount cannot be tampered with.
- API — Create sessions server-to-server with a secret key, redirect the shopper to the returned URL, and verify the result with a webhook or a status poll.
- WooCommerce plugin — Running a WooCommerce shop? Install the plugin, paste your API key and webhook secret, and LanaPay appears as a payment method at checkout. Orders are marked paid automatically when the webhook lands.
Questions merchants ask
- What does LanaPay cost me? — Nothing. There is no setup fee, no monthly fee and nothing is deducted from your sales. It works the other way around: you receive the full invoice and a reward on top of it — 2% as standard, 5% for Lana8Wonder merchants, and up to 20% in the Abundance model. The reward is funded by the investor financing the purchase, never by you.
- What is LANA? — LANA is LanaCoin — a long-running community cryptocurrency used across the Lana ecosystem. Your shoppers hold it in their own wallets; you price your goods in your regular currency and LanaPay converts to LANA at the current exchange rate at the moment of payment.
- Which currencies can I price in? — You set your prices in EUR, GBP and USD. The shopper always pays in LANA — the conversion happens at checkout, at the current rate, and you see both amounts on every transaction.
- How do refunds work? — Honestly: there is no on-chain refund rail. If you need to refund a customer, send the LANA back to their wallet manually from your own wallet, and mark the order refunded in your shop. LanaPay records the original payment either way.
- Is there a test mode? — Not yet. Use the client-side demo to see the whole flow, then run one small live payment to verify your integration end to end before going live.
- What if the exchange rate moves mid-checkout? — The LANA amount is locked at preview time. If the rate changes between preview and payment, the checkout catches it and asks the shopper to re-confirm the new amount — nobody ever pays a number they didn't see.
- Can I embed the checkout in an iframe? — No — and that's by design. Key entry stays on pay.lanapays.us, on a page whose address bar the shopper can read. An embeddable checkout would train shoppers to type wallet keys into arbitrary sites; we won't do that.
